"The Spark of Creation - Celebrating the Music of Stephen Schwartz"
Highlighting music from his most beloved shows, such as Wicked, Pippin, and Godspell (as well as enchanting gems from some of his lesser-known works), this musical extravaganza featured 11 powerhouse soloists backed by a live band.
This performance delighted audiences of all ages, with one venue indoors and the other outdoors, allowing audience goers an opportunity to enjoy two vastly different experiences.

“It’s a Wonderful Life”, Bob Nissen's radio drama adaptation of Frank Capra's beloved 1946 film
This American holiday classic came to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast in Nissen's adaptation. With the help of a full ensemble, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolded as he considered ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve...only to be reminded how much he has to live for.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” was the proud recipient of the 2023-2024 Gina Farasciano Community Theater Grant awarded by Hearts PW. "It's a Wonderful LIfe - Radio Play had two sold-out performances in Dec 2023.

A FREE Evening of Rodgers & Hammerstein music!
On Sat July 29th 2023, Port Washington Play troupe presented an unforgettable concert of Rodgers & Hammerstein.
This night of songs under the stars began at 7:30pm at the John Philip Sousa Memorial Bandshell in Port Washington.
The 90-minute show included solos, duets, and ensembles performing the music of famed musical theater collaborators Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, who brought us unforgettable shows like Oklahoma!, South Pacific, Carousel, The King and I and The Sound of Music.
It was an unforgettable evening at Sunset Park with a large audience in attendance.
